Our Retiree & Mature Dog Adoption Program

At Sielle Place Cavaliers, we only rarely have mature dogs available, as most of our Cavaliers live their lives in our beloved guardian homes or remain with us as treasured family pets.
When we do, it is because one of our much-loved Cavaliers is ready to gently step into retirement and enjoy life as someone’s cherished companion.
These dogs have been an important part of our family and our program, and their wellbeing continues to come first. Every retiree leaves us desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, dentally cared for, and fully health-checked by a veterinarian. They come with wonderful foundations in crate training, toilet training, leash manners, grooming desensitisation, and household socialisation.
We are committed to placing each dog in a home that mirrors the love and structure they have grown up with. We look for families who truly understand the Cavalier temperament and lifestyle, and who are prepared to continue providing high-quality nutrition and ongoing health care. Staying connected with our adoptive families is incredibly important to us—our retirees remain part of the Sielle family forever, keeping in touch means we can follow their journey into their senior years, honour their wellbeing, and make thoughtful decisions that continue to strengthen our breeding program.
If you are an experienced Cavalier owner, or someone with the time and heart to devote to a mature dog, we would love to hear from you. Welcoming a retiree is a beautiful opportunity to offer a well-mannered, affectionate companion a loving home for the next chapter of their life.
Our retired dogs adoption fee is $3,000, to express interest or ask questions, please reach out to us. We look forward to thoughtfully matching each of our special Cavaliers with a family who appreciates their unique qualities and will adore them as much as we do.
